Yesterday afternoon Coquitlam SAR was activated by BCEHS (BC Ambulance) for two hikers, one with a lower limb injury, on Burke Mountain.
One Saturday October 2nd, while 6 Coquitlam SAR members were assisting North Shore Rescue, we were notified by BC Ambulance of an injured hiker on the Diez Vistas trail near Buntzen Lake.

Coquitlam SAR was activated by Coquitlam RCMP at approximately 5:30 PM on Wednesday April 27th for two stranded hikers near Mount Beautiful. The two young men, between 19 and 21 years old, reported that they were exhausted and cold, with very little additional food or clothing.
